Lord help me to articulate
the hope I have in You.
To tell of your abounding grace
and love that makes me new.

That You sent Your own Son Jesus
from heaven to live on this earth.
To live, die and rise again
beginning with a virgin birth.

That I could be saved from the
depths of hell through your Dear Son,
who suffered died and rose again
defeating sin and death, victory won.

That You could implant loveliness
in me a fallen, sinful human being
Through Your spirit that indwells me
my once blinded eyes, now seeing.

That in You and You alone
there is redemption and grace.
From North to South, East to West
Your glory imparts this place.

There is nothing I can bring to You
not in my own power or might
except to repent and believe
I am forgiven and I'm being made right.

So take me Lord and use me
may Your will and my actions align.
May Your love be made tangible in me l
eading others to You, the divine.
