after years of carrying
I'll attempt to let it go
to vehemently trust
release and find the flow

this little hobby horse
that I have kept in tow
it's time to let it drop
and let my freedom show

internal knots will surely
bind me up again
I'll wait paitently for release
and make macrame 'til then

the waves will crash on top of me
pulling me under as they fall
I'll gasp for air as I can
and try float within the squall

there are no guarantees
I may fail more than I don't
but I can at least but try
and get my tactics honed
