shining lights in the dark the stars glimmer in their space in their life luminous never questioning their place

the wind picks up the leaves ferrying them across the plains tickling gutters in such jest that it aggravates the drains

clouds form like fairy floss with charcoal tones infused masking the master of the sky it is hidden, perplexed, bemused

and while this celestial narrative with its character plays on my story writes with movement of darkness and then light shone

so I'll bask in the moonlight as it reminds me so much of you the moon reflects the Son its light emanating through
